I had the great pleasure to create an animated music video for Ukrainian contemporary classic composer Natalia Tsupryk and her piece The Sun Was Low.

This frame-by-frame animation is a blend of rotoscope technique and Ukrainian folk art motives.

The main source of inspiration was the patterns are based on embroidery shirts from different regions of Ukraine and Tree of Life symbols, that was found in a village houses of Uman', Cherkasy region  (from 1980's Ukrainian ethnographic book).
